The Ides of March

Today is the day when Julius Caesar got stabbed 23 times and died. Marcus Junius Brutus and Gaius Casius Longinus among other sixty men were their murderers. Caesar was warned to beware "the Ides of March". The term "ides" referred to the 15th of the months of March, May, July and October, and the 13th of other months.
